Unfortunately after two victories in a row a loss comes for the ladies on the MÜNCHEN BASKET U18w BOL.
We knew that our opponents were very good players but we gave them hard time to win this game!
In fact, we dominated the first quarter (15:22 for us) and we manage to arrive to the half-time pause with a draw (30:30).
Their condition was excellent and they did full-court press defense for the whole game but
we played fast, passing the ball and going to the basket easily in fastbreak.
The third quarter was difficult because we were a bit unlucky with shooting and we overcharged ourselves with fouls.
Nevertheless, thanks to an amazing defense and team-play we manage to win also this quarter and we start the last period
leading with 4 points (36:40) but with very little energy left …
and then… unlucky with the baskets, tired and physically smaller we did not manage to bring home the deserved points.
During the fourth period they used their centimeters and their physical size and managed to take home 26 points
that led them to a large victory (62:45).
Too bad but not a tragedy… we need to take the positive side: we are improving exponentially both in defense and offense!
